Education

Educational History:

Mrs. Martin is a proud graduate of Stratford High School.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology from East Central University in Ada, OK.  Mrs. Martin was also awarded Master of Education degrees from East Central University in School Counseling and School Administration-Elementary.

Current Position:

Mrs. Martin began her teaching career at Maud Public Schools, serving as a Middle School Science teacher and the District School Counselor.  She began her career at Stratford Schools in the 2005-2006 school year, serving as the Elementary School Counselor and District Indian Education Coordinator.  Mrs. Martin became the Elementary School Principal in 2012-2013 school year.  She continues to serve as the District Indian Education Coordinator.

Family Information:

Mrs. Martin is married to James Martin, a teacher and coach at Stratford High School.  They have two sons… Lane, who recently married his wife Mackenzie, and Ty, both graduates of Stratford High School.  The Martin’s have a family farm, where they raise cattle and goats.
