I started at Stratford schools 15 years ago as a Substitute teacher.  My first job I was hired at the Elementary as the Computer lab teacher for a year, my second job was Elementary school secretary for 13 years and NOW I am living my dream job! Elementary School Counselor!!!!  

I love Stratford and I am so blessed to be part of the Stratford Bulldogs Family.

My past jobs were all Agricultural related.  I worked for a Seed company (Northrup King) right out of high school. I worked for three feedlots in Texas. Dumas Feeders, Cactus Feeders, and Hartley Feeders following that and I worked for a horse/trailer sales (Bobby Edmond Horse Sales) while I started my College career at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where I finally finished my Bachelors in AgriBusiness with a minor in Animal Science.  I have continued to work hard and chase my dreams to finish my Masters in Educaion and become a School Counselor! 

I have been married for 27 years to my Amazing Husband, Rickey Getman.

We have two Godly, Horse, Basketball loving girls! Skylar and Jaedyn.  Plus our bonus littles, 3 years ago; We got Lylianna & Madalynn and added My Precious Mother as well.  Happy Homefront we are!! Go Bulldogs….

Yes, We have a farm: 3 dogs, 4 kittens,12 horses, and 65 cows mixed black angus beef cattle and 6 longhorn/corriente roping cattle.
